Flying in Style

I flew into Nashville last night, and boy are my arms tired!! OK. That was lame.

I did want to say a big thanks to my friend Paul who allowed me to used a Buddy pass of his with Delta Airlines. .. . :)

I wore a nice suit to the airport, preparing to fly standby, and was greeted with a Perrier and a first class seat. Sweet.

Note to self: Get rich.

I don't know which thing I'm more jealous of....that you got to fly first class, or that you're in Nashville right now!!! The closest I've ever gotten to first class is my carry-on brushing up against the arm rail as I walked by.

You know what's funny about flying? Relatives and ticket agents alike always say something like, "Have a great flight." As if. Come on--there's absolutely nothing in the world that you can do to have or not have a more safer flight (Except maybe sit by the 400 lb guy in the emergency row to shield yourself a bit more.)

I'm glad you arrived safely. I hope you return in first class style as well!

Sweet. Jealous am I. What's first class like? Do you sit in a bed of tulips with guys waving palm fronds to cool you down? While we in coach watch "Herbie Fully Loaded" do you get "War of the Worlds"?

Eric, I purposefully sit in the emergency exit seat for longer leg room, so I'm that 300 lb guy you're talking about. See if I save you from impending doom next time our plane goes down.
